WSAS Project

Puget Sound Partnership Science Panel

Overview

WSAS conducts an annual review of nominations to the Puget Sound Partnership (PSP) Science Panel, followed by submission of recommendations to PSP’s Leadership Council. This activity is codified in the authorizing legislations for the PSP which is the state agency leading the region’s collective effort to restore and protect Puget Sound. The PSP brings together hundreds of partners to mobilize partner action around a common agenda, advance Sound investments, and advance priority actions by supporting partners. The PSP Science Panel advises PSP’s efforts to develop a comprehensive, science-based plan to restore Puget Sound. The PSP Science Panel consists of top scientists in Washington State appointed by the PSP Leadership Council based on recommendations from WSAS.
