Diversifying the Cannabis Research Community in Washington State

As the legal cannabis market expands across the country and in Washington state, there is a growing need to engage diverse expertise and perspectives to further enhance research on the effects of cannabis use on individuals, communities and society. At the request of the Washington State Department of Commerce, WSAS synthesized the current landscape of cannabis research in Washington State, producing an inventory of researchers, research topics, and research workforce demographics.
