WSAS Project

Building a resilient transportation system: challenges and opportunities

Overview

The state relies on a robust transportation system to move people and goods across the state. The impacts of climate change present a significant and growing threat to the safety, reliability and sustainability of transportation infrastructure and operations. WSAS collaborated with the Mobility Innovation Center at the University of Washington to convene a roundtable discussion with researchers and public and private stakeholders committed to ensuring a resilient transportation system in Washington State.
