Modeled after the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine
The Academy is collaborating with the William D. Ruckelshaus Center to support researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and others in addressing the impacts of Covid-19 on Washington’s children and applying lessons learned to future emergencies.
The Academy is convening a roundtable discussion with scientists from academia, industry and state agencies to explore the key scientific issues related to 6PPD-quinone, a chemical commonly used in motor vehicle tires to prevent them from quickly degrading.
