It is with great sadness that we announce the death of WSAS Board Member, W. Sue Ritter. Dr. Ritter passed away at the age of 75 after a long scientific career as a neuroscientist and Regents Professor at Washington State University. She was elected to the Washington State Academy of Sciences Board of Directors in September 2019 after four years as an active member. Dr. Ritter was enthusiastic about science policy and believed deeply in the mission of WSAS. She was an outstanding colleague and scientist. Her contributions to the Board of Directors will be greatly missed.
