Increase the impact of science in Washington State
Give today to support WSAS
Donations to WSAS help us grow in our capacity to respond to the scientific and technological information needs of the state. Your support allows us to…
- Provide inspiring and aspiring young scientists in the state with the opportunity to serve as delegates at the American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS).
- Convene leading thinkers on important topics relevant to Washington State like transportation resiliency and wastewater surveillance of infectious diseases.
- Produce scientifically sound reports to help Washington State agencies consider future evidence-based actions, such as actions related on the mitigation of pandemic impacts on children and sustainable aviation.
- Provide special programs for members, such as workshops to help members learn how to effectively engage as scientists in a policy environment.
- Offer and plan training opportunities for graduate students and early career scientists to learn about policymaking in the state and support state policymakers.
You may increase your impact by checking whether it is eligible for a match from your employer. If you would like to consider including WSAS in your legacy planning, please contact us for more information. A contribution at any level enables us to increase the Academy’s impact.
Your gift is tax-deductible – WSAS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization – and allows us to remain independent and respond quickly and efficiently to state requests.
