
The Washington State Academy of Sciences (WSAS) is delighted to announce 28 new members in recognition of their outstanding record of scientific and technical achievement and willingness to work on behalf of the Academy to bring the best available science to bear on issues within the state of Washington. New members will be inducted into WSAS following the 12th Annual Symposium and Members’ Meeting at the Museum of Flight in Seattle on September 12, 2019.

The Washington State Legislature asked the Washington State Academy of Sciences to study the value of distributed solar power generation and storage, and to develop recommendations for future compensation methods. The WSAS’s recently published interim report details engagement with interested parties and a research plan for continued analysis.
