The Seattle Times has published an OpEd by WSAS President Dr. Roger Myers and incoming President-Elect Dr. John Roll on the topic of the efforts of the scientific community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Myers has served as the Board President since September of 2020. He is a former executive with 30 years of service with Aerojet Rocketdyne’s Redmond Operations and currently serves as the chair of the Washington State Joint Center for Aerospace Technology Innovation and President of the Electric Rocket Propulsion Society. Dr. Roll was recently elected to his new role as President-Elect. He is the Vice Dean for Research for the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, Associate Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and acting chair of Community and Behavioral Health at Washington State University.
