Business Meeting: The business meeting included welcoming our 37 new members.
Lunch: WSAS member, Subhash Singhal, from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, introduced the guest teachers, students and Science Fair organizer, Gary Foss.
A special thank you toThe Boeing Company, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Battelle, and Seattle City Light that sponsored our visiting teachers and students. The WSAS staff received many enthusiastic thank you's from the teachers and students for their invitation to participate in the event.
Symposium: From the keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Corell, Principal of Global Environment and Technology Foundation, to the dinner speaker, Dr. Howard Frumkin, Dean, University of Washington School of Public Health, the information and discussions enlightened and engaged the audience of members, guests, students, and teachers.
